As a result of our continued growth, Sago Networks is actively pursuing motivated, high energy individuals to join our team as Business Development Managers. In the Business Development Manager . Technical Sales role you will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships over the phone and in person. Using a consultative approach, you will meet with clients to evaluate their technical needs, recommend and provide consulting solutions.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: contacting supervisors to determine a candidate's viability to support and resolve specific client needs; providing customer service for existing clients to ensure their expectations are being met; and strategizing with teammates to accomplish weekly business growth goals. Individuals in this position work in a team environment, while being held accountable for individual growth goals.

This position comes with a base salary, a commission plan and opportunities for advancement to leadership roles.

Job Skills/Requirements:

We have an immediate need for an experienced Business Development Manager/Account Manager who has:
  1. Experience of 5 + years in interacting with IT professionals and high-level executives. Extensive company contacts a plus.
  2. Must have knowledge of LAN, Wireless broadband technology, and hardware requirements for Application Servers.
  3. Consistent track record of reaching sales targets.
  4. Compensation will be DOE and will consist of base salary + commission + performance bonus along with an excellent benefit package.

Experience and Background:

  • The ideal candidate is a confident, self starter with experience selling Consulting Services.
  • Must be comfortable marketing to senior management - director level and above.
  • The ideal candidate would have solid network of industry contacts and be able to utilize his/her proven business development and/or technical background to develop and grow his/her own client base by marketing IT related services.
  • Must have a proven track record of outstanding sales performance in the IT consulting industry and a well defined approach for hunting and closing new business.
  • Sharp professional with a boardroom image, strong focus and sense of urgency in obtaining new business.
  • Excellent cold calling, prospecting and negotiating skills.
  • A good understanding of information technology systems and roles.
  • Self motivated with a strong work ethic and demonstrated ownership in your work.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members, both on-shore and off-shore.
  • Technical knowledge of Information Systems terminology
